Qualified riggers and signal persons are currently required for any crane activity in construction.  This course will cover the training required for workers to be qualified riggers and signal persons on the jobsite.

Qualified rigger I is for workers who are acting in the capacity of riggers and signal persons for straightforward loads in construction.

During this course, our trainer will discuss many developments crane standards and the potential effects it has had on the construction industry.  We will go over the standards for who can become a qualified rigger and qualified signal person and when these workers are required, proper techniques for rigging a load, the various types of equipment involved with rigging operations, and how will forklift operators and material delivery drivers be affected.  The employer is ultimately responsible for determining if their employees are qualified to rig any loads on their jobsites.
